Cartridge Filter
The high velocity cartridge filter is designed to remove in excess of 95% of the cooking by-products generated from the cooking process (the National Institute of Standards and Technology methodology was used by an independent agency to evaluate performance). As the air is circulated through the filter at high speed, it is forced to make a series of turns. The centrifugal force causes grease particles to be thrown out of the air stream. The grease is channeled into a stainless steel, removable grease cup located accessibly at the end of the grease trough. The unique design offers an extremely high level of capture and extraction performance currently available in a non-water wash ventilator. The unit can be removed at periodic intervals for cleaning and is dishwasher safe.

Applications
Designed for hoods over cooking surfaces that produce excessive grease.
Construction
The high velocity cartridges are constructed of heavy gauge, Type 304 stainless steel. Seams are continuously welded. Two sizes are available. Overall dimensions are 16" wide by 16" high or 20" wide by 16" high.
The High Velocity Cartridge Filter is a ETL Listed Sub-Assembly for the following K-Tech hoods.
